Wow! Where did 2007 go?  When the school year began last August my new year began with my husband, John not going back to work.  His retirement had started and ...... actually was not as bad as I thought it would be having him around.  We were able to paint the house, and get several other projects done.  Fall came and we managed to get some rides in on our Harley throughout the area and still agree East TN has the best motorcycle riding.  Then our local Harley dealership Smoky Mountain H-D got the 2008 Harley's in and I fell in love with the 2008 105th Anniversary Black/Copper Ultra Classic.  So now I'm the proud owner with John as my chaffeur.  We then had to have the leather jackets to match so Christmas came early for us.  After Christmas we headed to FL to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and enjoy the nice weather.  The day we left weather was nice but the next day the temperature was dropping to freezing.  We headed to VA to visit my youngest brother, Robert and his wife Kris.  They work in UK so trips home are few.  We brought the New Year in on London time.  Resolutions, same as always...lose weight, walk more, etc.  Well, I've already broken mine as I slipped on the hardwood steps and it was either roll down them or sit down.  I SAT HARD!!  Now I have a fractured compressed disk and will take 4-6 weeks to heal.  So 2008 is starting out a little rough but will give me a chance to inventory my PM collection and sell some of them as my kids really don't want them once I'm gone.  I hit the big 60 this year also!  Looks like I have alot to look forward to.  We are hoping to get some good rides in this summer.  Who knows? We may end up on your door step.
