Greetings To All...After moving into our house last year and getting all my PM's out of storage, I found I don't have room for all of my collections here! After sorting and sorting and REsorting, I finally decided on what pieces I would have to give up! I hate to have to get rid of anything, but that's the way life goes! I imagine most of you "regular" gals already have most of these I have for sale, but you might want to look anyway! You never know!! I have a website that my hubby helped create where you can look. It is phoover.tripod.com (NO www) Or, if you have any friends who might be interested I would appreciate the help!! Most of them are 40-50% off. Hope you enjoy the site!

Hello everyone........just visited the chapel last week. It was their first day opening. Lareen and her hubby were there as volunteers......so sad.....she was the best Sam could have wanted to run things there. They had some drawings and things, free popcorn.....but so sad that we couldn't let our 10 year old grandson experience the Fountain of Angels. Cubby's RV park is closed as well as Wedding Island......what a shame.

How does everyone else feel about the changes? Do you think it is a financial thing? Were they not bringing in enough profit? Just miss the whole thing....Precious Moments will never be the same with out all the things they used to have for the collectors.

A question I am stumped!

While looking at the new "Bible Heroes" series .. Now I can identify all of the heroes except for the boy with the horn on the rock.. My co-worker and I have determined it is Joshua who walked around the walls of Jericho, then blew his horn in the seventh day. If anyone has a different idea please pass it on. I

HI THERE...I HAVE BEEN HEARING SOME "SCOOP" ABOUT RENOVATIONS TO THE FOUNTAIN! CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON?? I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT THEY WOULD BE DOING TO IT. I HAVE BEEN TO THE CHAPEL 5 TIMES AND WAS THERE DURING THE BUILDING OF IT. I THINK IT'S AWESOME AND AM WORRIED ABOUT THE WHOLE CHAPEL GROUNDS. THANKS FOR ANY INFO!

Spring Hurry Up!

I cant wate till the spring get's here!! It seems the last little while I have always been pregnet....lol, But this spring I have so much work to do on the yard, So many plans of things I want to get done. I bet alot of you are wateing for the spring to come! I cant wate too see all the preatty flowers and the sun for that matter, Be able to take the boys too the park and get more fresh air, Im getting house "crazy". You will all have to let me know what you all do to get ready for spring!

Bye Bye 2007 and Hello 2008

As many of you know, 2007 started off very bad for me and only got worse as time went on. On 1/03/07, I tripped on our Golden Retriever and fractured my right ankle in 3 places.....2 plates, 8 screws and almost 4 months later, I was able to walk again. Then between July and November, I had 5 hospitalizations for severe attacks of chronic pancreatitis. The docs feel this is caused by my high triglycerides. Thankfully, Manny has been healthy and helping a lot.

Our Golden Retriever had major chest surgery to remove a tumor and a rib in May. This was caused by a fungus found here in the Valley and is called Valley Fever. She pulled through the surgery with flying colors.

On the brighter side, we are now the proud owners of our 2nd home....we purchased a used 32 ft. Motor Home in October. We've taken a few week-end trips and absolutely love it. Our grandson Ryan has nicknamed it Rhino.....which was his nickname on one of the soccer teams he was on. Our big trip is planned for early March of this year. Ryan has almost 3 weeks spring break and the 3 of us will be traveling to Massachusetts to visit relatives and friends. Ryan is really excited about this trip.

Arizona is wonderful and we don't miss the cold and snow that we had in MA for 50 plus years. Retirement is wonderful! I keep myself so busy doing crafts, knitting and sewing that I have been spending less and less time on the computer.

All in all, I am hoping for a wonderful 2008!!!

A little late, but I want to wish you all a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

2007 Where did you go?

Wow! Where did 2007 go? When the school year began last August my new year began with my husband, John not going back to work. His retirement had started and ...... actually was not as bad as I thought it would be having him around. We were able to paint the house, and get several other projects done. Fall came and we managed to get some rides in on our Harley throughout the area and still agree East TN has the best motorcycle riding. Then our local Harley dealership Smoky Mountain H-D got the 2008 Harley's in and I fell in love with the 2008 105th Anniversary Black/Copper Ultra Classic. So now I'm the proud owner with John as my chaffeur. We then had to have the leather jackets to match so Christmas came early for us. After Christmas we headed to FL to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and enjoy the nice weather. The day we left weather was nice but the next day the temperature was dropping to freezing. We headed to VA to visit my youngest brother, Robert and his wife Kris. They work in UK so trips home are few. We brought the New Year in on London time. Resolutions, same as always...lose weight, walk more, etc. Well, I've already broken mine as I slipped on the hardwood steps and it was either roll down them or sit down. I SAT HARD!! Now I have a fractured compressed disk and will take 4-6 weeks to heal. So 2008 is starting out a little rough but will give me a chance to inventory my PM collection and sell some of them as my kids really don't want them once I'm gone. I hit the big 60 this year also! Looks like I have alot to look forward to. We are hoping to get some good rides in this summer. Who knows? We may end up on your door step.

What does 2008 bring?

Wow, just like that, 2007 is gone and another year is here. Time to
take down the tree, change the calendar, and make some resolutions
that will hopefully last past January. What does 2008 have in store for you? I pray that everyone has a good year, 2007 seemed to be a bit rough all around. As many of us do, I have decided that this is the year to get back into shape. It would have been much easier to stay in shape than to try to get it back but life moves on. Health and fitness and are on the forefront this year since I have been told that I am in the pre-diabetes stage. Nothing like the doctor giving you a good swift kick to get you moving. So, on the agenda is Weight Watchers, new exercise equipment and Curves.

On a different note, it's time to revitalize the site, we are up to 695 members! Very nice, it's just time for contributors to get involved. I plan on working with PMI this year to cross link information and the sites. I'm not sure exactly where that will go but I'll keep you up to date.

On the home front, we had a wonderful Christmas and New Year with the exception that Brandyn didn't make it home for the first time. He was changing colleges in Maine and had a ton of stuff to get done. Ryan (my 15 year old) was selected for a 1 year exchange program in China. He is very excited, he's been studying Japanese and Chinese for the past 2 years and really wants to go. I'm still debating whether to let him go for the year program or the summer program. The cost is high so I told him that he has to do some fundraising.
